Self-discovery and life skills for youth and adults with neurodiversities

 

Spectrum Yoga offers a variety of unique classes to supporting most goals, needs, and interests. All classes are capped between 5 - 8 students (based on the class type) to ensure each individual receives the care he needs. All classes are first-come, first-served, and require registering online to reserve your child's spot. Siblings and neurotypical friends are welcome at all classes! Enjoy learning more about the specialized classes offered and which one may be the right fit for your child.

Life Skills Yoga

A movement, mindfulness, and educational class rotating through life skills focuses, weekly. A few include anxiety, body and mind awareness, communication, and self-regulation. This class primarily focuses on self-awareness and developing personalized strategies for life.

A therapeutic movement class for kids who have lots of energy and who love to MOVE! Ages 6 -9; Limit: 5 students

Just Teens Yoga

Through breath, movement, and mindfulness, the Just Teens Yoga class is designed to provide independence tools, opportunities for socializing, and to support self-esteem.

Sensory Wind Down

This class is each student's own practice and does not involve student-to-student engagement. Individualized restorative yoga poses, personalized breathwork, ball pressure, and mindfulness activities are used to create a calming, restorative yoga class for youth to

  • De-stress
  • Process the day
  • Self-soothe
  • Acquire tools to support quality sleep.

A calmly paced class focusing on how to move our bodies, work in small groups, and use our breath, movement, and play to support development and personal goals.
